Infinity Drain recently worked on a fashionable project for a progressive new residential building in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood – the Zaha Hadid Building at 520 West 28th Street. This amazing structure, surrounded by museums, boutiques and trendy eateries, added yet another architectural masterpiece to the skyline of one of the hottest areas of New York City.
But, the artful exterior is not the only thing that makes this building something special to behold. The interiors are magnificently adorned with imaginative design and detailed accents that are truly remarkable.
The designers of the building asked Infinity Drain to create a linear drain that heightened the experience of their exclusive open look private spa room. The luxurious room is engineered for optimal relaxation, so Infinity Drain provided everything from concept to fabrication to site delivery to carry out the designer’s vision.
This water-based personal spa enclave now adds to the unique elegance of this building, with the attention to detail and meticulous craftsmanship, Infinity Drain is known for.
For example, the drain slot is 1/2” wide, so the drain opening is extremely narrow. This way, residents and guests can easily walk over it without any issues. It’s basically a part of the floor. Also, it’s easy for cleaning and maintenance, because of the unique way Infinity Drain incorporated the tile as a clean-out in the linear drain.

The building calls this magnificent room the “Private Reserveable Spa Suite.” We call it a testament to a complimentary interior design and meticulously crafted linear drain, to make the experience both pleasing to the eye and functional in performance.
