Nothing beats the crisp air, changing leaves and being at our favorite sporting events surrounded by excited fans cheering on the teams we love. But all-star athletes taking on their opponents is not the only detail we can take in while at the arena or stadium; in celebration of our beloved fall past-times, we’re sharing a star-studded lineup of our favorite Infinity Drain stadium projects.
Clemson University
Clemson University’s football operation facility sets a new standard for the student-athlete experience. HOK, a global design, architectural and engineering firm, worked with GMC architects and DPR contractors to develop a one-of-a-kind space for its players and staff. The complex includes 1.5 acres of outdoor leisure space, state-of-the-art training facilities, and Infinity Drain customized FFTIF 65 tile-in drains at different lengths for the locker rooms, spa and pool areas.
Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse
SHoP and Rossetti Architects set the tone of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse with sleek, modern upgrades. The restroom area was designated as a complete wet room with Infinity Drain‘s linear and center Tile Insert drains. To meet the specification standards set by the NBA, Infinity Drain fabricated custom length linear drains for the showers to meet the needs of the shower head height, water production as well as to avoid flooding.
Mercedes Benz Stadium
With its architectural inspiration coming from the oculus within Rome’s Pantheon, HOK Architects’ design for the Atlanta Falcon’s home field reimagined what a stadium can mean to the experience of going to a live event. A building that looks and functions like no other required modern architectural and engineering innovations, including state-of-the-art locker rooms featuring Infinity Drain custom Tile Insert Linear and Center drains.
