Armoniosa Estate
Armoniosa Estate
Las Vegas, NV
Rising above the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas’ Historic District sits the “Armoniosa Estate” an ultra-modern home designed by Architect Richard Cuen.
Inspired by the homeowner’s desire to live in harmony between indoor and outdoor environments, Cuen used the principles of the Passive House movement to guide the design of the home and control the environmental impact and relationship the residence has with the surrounding landscape.
In collaboration with Dane Isenmann Builders, Cuen establishes a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living starting with the exterior of the home. The grounds feature reflection water ponds, palm trees, cacti sculptures and a large swimming pool in the courtyard, lending to a picturesque desert atmosphere. The structure of the home is comprised of advanced products including 6,000 square feet of glass walls that establish continuity between the interior and exterior living spaces.
“We succeeded in creating a design that brings the outdoors in with soaring walls of glass extensively throughout, providing beautiful views of the 2-acre lot from every room,” Said Cuen.
Boasting five bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a chef’s kitchen and much more, the spacious 10,000 square foot interior was designed by interior designers Kimberly Joi McDonald and Donna Moss. The interior design was inspired by the homeowner’s vision and organic lifestyle coupled with bold unexpected nuances reminiscent of Las Vegas flair.
Infinity Drain had the honor of outfitting the luxurious bathrooms with its stylish linear drains. In the showers, the sleek modern look of the stainless-steel Wedge Wire linear drains maintains the barrier-free design found throughout the home, while floor to ceiling windows in the showers enhance the home’s indoor, outdoor concept.
The Infinity Drain Team would like to thank Richard Cuen, for choosing its linear drains to be a part of this stunning new build!
Additionally, Infinity Drain would like to thank KNB Associates, LLC, Dane Isenmann Builders, Kimberly Joi McDonald and Donna Moss for their contributions to the design of the Armoniosa Estate.
